Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC) is a chronic, progressive liver disease characterized by inflammation and fibrosis of the bile ducts, leading to multifocal bile duct strictures. The aetiology of PSC remains unclear, though it is frequently associated with inflammatory bowel disease. PSC carries an increased risk for various cancers. Currently, there is no effective medical therapy.
